Waaay cheaper! I think I pay like $60 a year for my Suzuki Savage through State Farm!

(I think it’s because if you get in a wreck you’re not likely to cause much damage…although damage to you will be much more severe)

Not usually.I don’t know where Josh got his insurance but sport bike insurance is usually off the hook for novice riders.I have a lot of experience and a really good record and I pay $53.00/month

It is for me. I live in a place that has 4 seasons. I am discounted but still covered because I cant ride as much in winter.

you are asking about a sport bike. Those are much higher than the cruisers. The savage guy below is insuring a very low end cruiser so it is going to be cheap. You are probably young too which makes it even higher.

It depends. A guy under 25 with full coverage on a 600 or 1,000cc sport bike will pay WAY more for his bike than his car. I’ve heard of guys paying $6,000 per year, but $2,000-3,000 is more common. On the other hand, I pay about $500-600 per year per bike, and about $1,000 for a car, but I’m over 50 years of age, and have fairly good driving record.
